Recently we completed a project based around insurance for our members. This project looked at the problems which people with genetic conditions, particularly rare genetic conditions, faced when applying for insurance.

We worked with many insurers during this project to ensure that changes were brought about in the insurance industry. Through the project we developed a working partnership with the insurers below and found that they often have helpful policies for patients who have had difficulties with insurance. These insurers are:

Travel: Insurancewith

Life: AllClear

We recommend having a look around at various companies and policies before committing to an insurance policy.
