The UK Platform for the European Patients‘ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI) met again last…
The European Patients' Academy on Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI) project is providing training and online resources for patients and the public who wish to know more about how medicines (drugs) are developed. It is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative and brings together 33 European organisations including patient groups, industry and academics. Genetic Alliance UK has been involved since the beginning of the project.
Genetic Alliance UK has contributed to the development of the syllabus and content; to development of the framework to support patient involvement in health technology assessment; and to the steering of the project in general through membership of the Executive Committee.
If you would like more information about the project please email our Director of Research, Amy Hunter, or call the office on 020 7704 3141.
