This Project continued the work Pritti Mehta began, implementing her findings on Ethnic Monitoring in Clinical Genetics. Download the Report Ethnic Monitoring in Clinical Genetics.
This Project was funded by the Department of Health for three years.
The Project:
- Liaised with clinical genetics departments around England
- Provided training and literature to staff in the clinics to facilitate ethnic monitoring.
- Provided literature for patients at the clinics, explaining the reasons behind the monitoring, and easing some of their concerns over the possible uses of the data.
- Created a user friendly data collection odevice suited to the clinics patient care strategy.
