Main areas of work are:

• Developing and maintaining strategies that enable Genetic Alliance UK to communicate effectively with our members / scientific community / politicians / the media and the general public.
• Project Management responsibilities for Project Officers (Insurance Project, Facilitating Networks Project and the Scottish Patient Engagement Project.
• Responsible for producing and editing all Genetic Alliance UK reports and publications. This includes our quarterly newsletter "Genetic Alliance UK TODAY"
• Content management of the Genetic Alliance UK website
• Responsible for organising Genetic Alliance UK events including the Annual Genetic Alliance UK conference.
• Member of the Clinical Genetics Society, Clinical Governance Subcommittee.
